J. Dana Designs’ kitchens are constructed using only the finest techniques and materials. The only limits on cabinet size, shapes, finishes, and features are the laws of physics and your imagination. The design process incorporates the use of computer visual conceptions that bring your concept to life before you invest. Wood selections include maple (including tiger, curly and figured), cherry, alder, African, mahogany, Cambodia and apple, to mention a few. Custom features include full inset drawers with solid wood sides, dovetail joinery, and self-closing Blum-motion hardware. Doors and frames are solid wood. Our glass doors have individual panes of antique or restoration glass, depending on preference. Exterior hardware is period-appropriate wood, brass, or iron. Door catches are hand-made replication "twist turns" or magnetic cut brass. Standard hinges are steel; hand forged replications of varying styles are also available.
